Architecture Work

The Woodward Apartments

This project is the product of my first time using the building information modeling system Revit. The Woodward Apartments is an apartment complex that takes inspiration from my current apartment building, an Edwardian style building located on the street that previously housed San Francisco’s historic Woodward Gardens. The ground floor of the building has an open-air courtyard and space for a cafe, co-working space, and a retail

This design maximalizes natural lighting through the bay windows on all exteriors and interior courtyard. Below is selected floor plans and renders.
Hungalelti Education Center
The Woodfords Community is located in the Woodfords/Markleeville area, which is part of Alpine County, California and is historically known as the Southern band of the Washoe Tribe. The Indian Education Center serves as an afterschool program and community meeting space for the Woodsford community.

The current Education Center is a dated, bland, western ranch style building that has no qualities that resonate with the Húngalelti community. It lacks any connection to tribal history that would help youth and adults feel a connection and pride of their rich cultural heritage. In Fall 2024, I worked with a team of classmates for a Capsone Architecture course at the University of San Francisco to redesign the exterior, interior, and landscape of the education center.  We visited the center and worked closely with the Washoe community to create a more welcoming and culturally connected space for the community.

Design Work

A collection of event flyers and such.

All  of these pieces were used for event outreach,  designed to be eye catching. I enjoy using a variety of analog mediums in combination with digital tools.

Wild Women Logos
In 2022, I worked with USF Professor Kim Carfore to design the current logo for her nonprofit organzation, Wild Women

Wild Women is a nonprofit based in San Francisco with a mission of  to educate and empower women and girls in the outdoors while building resilient communities. The goal is to reconnect people with themselves, each other, and the land.
